2. Purpose of processing

At Personal Rest, we process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Manage requests for information and contact.

  • Processing orders and purchasing processes.

  • Coordinate mattress and pillow customisation processes.

  • Manage appointments, biometric studies, and personalised advice.

  • Provide after-sales services and product follow-up.

  • Send informative communications relating to our products and services, when consent has been given.

  • Comply with applicable legal obligations.

The information collected will be adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes described.

 

3. Data we collect

We will be able to process the following categories of data:

  • Identifying details (name, surnames).

  • Contact details (email, phone, address).

  • Billing details.

  • Information related to sleep preferences.

  • Biometric and postural data required for personalised product design (in the case of systems such as Signature Pro or Elite Custom / 1 OFF 1).

These data will be used exclusively to design and manufacture the personalised sleep system requested.

Personal Rest does not process any particularly sensitive data beyond what is strictly necessary for product personalisation, and always on a legitimate legal basis.

 

4. Legitimacy

The legal basis for processing your data is:

  • The execution of a contract or the application of pre-contractual measures.

  • The express consent of the data subject.

  • Compliance with legal obligations.

  • Personal Rest's legitimate interest in improving its services and ensuring the quality of the process.

 

5. Data Conservation

The data will be retained:

  • For the time necessary to fulfil the purpose for which they were collected.

  • While a contractual relationship exists.

  • During the legally required periods for tax, commercial, or administrative matters.

  • Until the withdrawal of consent in the case of commercial communications.

Once the applicable deadlines have passed, the data will be deleted or blocked in accordance with current regulations.

  • Tax, accounting, or legal advisors.

  • Collaborative professionals in evaluation or customisation processes (when the client participates in advanced processes such as 1-on-1).
